Noby Noby Boy
From the mind that created the Katamari franchise, comes Noby Noby Boy. Essentially you are a peanut shaped “Boy” who has to stretch himself to show his love for “Girl”, who in turn grows as well. There is no real objective to the game, you just run around and eat things, stretch yourself, and jump. Tiny mice policemen, strange men on bikes, dogs, and donuts populate the world. The “Boy House” has a clown wig and a nose that shoots bubbles. Fun controls (the right and left stick independently control the head and tail end of Boy), and lack of specific tasks (just run around) make this game a real winner. This game easily falls into the new genre of purely aesthetic games on the PS3. I am just glad the finally artists are getting a chance to make some games that are fun, interesting, and aesthetically challenging. The game is a steal at 4.99 in the Playstation store. Pick it up, you won’t be disappointed.
