Retro Game Challenge (NDS)

In a world of Xbox achievements and PS3 trophies, it feels like when you pick up a game you don’t play to finish the game, you play to complete mini objectives. I’m not complaining, overall it works well, and can add a level of replayability to a title. But there are those awful games of Halo 3 where a handful of your teammates won’t shut the fuck up about getting a laser kill, or needing to get “Road Rage.”

Retro game challenge is set up around this idea of completing challenges put to you by an evil gamer. The game consists of half a dozen retro style games, from a surprisingly good RPG, to a excellent space shooter. You have 4 challenges per game, and they can range from 5 - 6 minutes, to 5 - 6 hours to complete. To aid you along the way, you can read manuals or look up tips in gaming magazines. To top it all off, once a game has had its challenges met, it opens up for free-play. Long story short, if you are looking for a fun, classic game, pick this up.
