After months of hype I was hesitant to finally see this one, but I am glad I did. First of all, the Blu ray of this film is spectacular. Some of the best, most natural looking outdoor scenes I have seen in any Blu Ray release. The opening scenes in at the lake look phenomenal. Don't Sleep On Los Cronocrímenes!
Timecrimes is the best time travel movie since Primer. Not quite the scientific mind-fuck that Primer was, Timecrimes is more of a thriller. Unfortunately, like all good foreign films, it is set to be re-made in 2011. Don’t miss this gem: short, smart, and all around fun.
