"What do you mean it's just plain water?"
I drink a lot of water. Last summer I was really into San Pellegrino, eventually buying it by the case. Unfortunately it was not a finically sound practice. So I moved on to the ever classy Big K lemon lime sparkling water (A.K.A: Sparkle Water). It’s not mineral water, but it’s dirt cheap, and I go through around 14-18 cans a week. Recently I came across this whole foods strawberry...
Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad
IGN- 3.0
Gamepro- 2.0
Gamespot- 2.5
Things looked bad for the ladies of Onechanbara. The reviews destroyed the game, citing bad controls, bad graphics, and the manuals incompetent technical explanation of the game-play. All that aside, I bought this game the day it came out, without having read a single review. All I knew was that it was the new North American release from D3, the company...
Noby Noby Boy
From the mind that created the Katamari franchise, comes Noby Noby Boy. Essentially you are a peanut shaped “Boy” who has to stretch himself to show his love for “Girl”, who in turn grows as well. There is no real objective to the game, you just run around and eat things, stretch yourself, and jump. Tiny mice policemen, strange men on bikes, dogs, and donuts populate the...

Martyrs Release Date
Hkflix had a Blu Ray release that has already gone out of print, but now a North American date of April 28th has been set. I have been hearing about this film for so long, it has a lot to live up to.
New Nike Coraline Dunks
Nice, just plain nice.
New Converse: Marine-Sea Crisp
Snap… like a camera. Traffic jam stoppers. Hypebeast link here.
Bhakti Chai- You can never go back.
God damn is this shit good. I had been drinking Oregon Chai, and Third Street for a while, and then I had this last month at Laughing Goat. You can get it by the quart at Whole Foods for about $11. If you like chai pick some up, but be warned, you will never go back to your weak sugary excuse for chai ever again
Akira Blu Ray Next Week
I can’t wait for this. Animation looks wonderful on Blu Ray, I am sure that this will be no exception.
The Duke Spirit
Just came across this song: “This Ship Was Built To Last”
Retro Game Challenge (NDS)
In a world of Xbox achievements and PS3 trophies, it feels like when you pick up a game you don’t play to finish the game, you play to complete mini objectives. I’m not complaining, overall it works well, and can add a level of replayability to a title. But there are those awful games of Halo 3 where a handful of your teammates won’t shut the fuck up about getting a laser...
If you have ever worked in a video store...
My friend Noah showed me this McSweeney’s link at work tonight.
Rough drat of a video piece. Needs sound work, hopefully I will get around to that soon. I find it hard to revisit work, but this piece feels like it embodies the aesthetic I am leaning towards these days. I hope this is the first of many video posts.
I Am Alive. Yet another game I can't wait to play.
This game looks like it could be a contender for “game of the year”, but who knows, the way things have been going with some other highly anticipated games, it could be a bust. I am hoping for Fallout 3 meets Children Of Men ( the trailer looks remarkably similar) meets Cloverfeild. Take a look at the trailer
Me And Him Call It Us- Loss
I was listening to a few new band recommendations that came my way, and thought of this album. Most of the new stuff I am hearing “metal” wise has an emphasis on really clean (production wise), pig grunt vocal styles. The reason older albums, like “Horrified” by Repulsion, or “Reek Of Putrefaction” by Carcass, sounded so good because the vocals were not...
Mission Statement Of Sorts:
My plan with this blog is put create the illusion that absurd amount of time surfing the web each day is actually for a purpose. This shall be my modern day cabinet of curiosities, full of all kinds of things that will interest some, and disinterest others. Along side these internet treasures will be reviews, rants, and the like. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
